Tears and Christmas Baubles

I have been working away at the tears piece- 13 tears for 13 years- only one more tear to go. I don't seem to be able to set my mind to anything else much at the moment. Have taken up my journal again after a hiatus- just anything to get going again! However as I have been working I am starting to think these aren't tears any more but more like Christmas baubles- there is even a Christmas tree which wasn't intentional at all, but just happened. I think it is telling me something!

So on that note , however you celebrate this time of year, whatever your beliefs, I wish one and all the best of times and let's hope that the world in 2009 will be a different better place for all of us who inhabit it- let each of us acquire a new green habit, no matter how little, it will all help. My intent is to make sure I use those green bags when I go shopping instead of forgetting them in the laundry!

My green shopping bags often stay in the kitchen instead of the car boot - I'm trying to remember them too. I have been following your trials for a while, and as I don't know you I have rarely, if ever, left a comment, though yours is a blog I usually open first when Bloglines shows me a new post. I look forward to meeting you at the AQC when I'm doing a class with you. All the best for the Christmas season.

I can't tell you how much your work inspires me ~ I have silks that my daughter in law brought back from her 3 week trip to Asia this past fall and I'm planning to make her a wallhanging from the random pieces/colors. You have shared SO many ideas. . . (I'm still in the taking apart stage, but the fear of moving forward is easing rapidly). Goal is to have it for her birthday on Feb. 14 (may not be done, but will be WELL underway!)

Thank you so much.

I hope you have a happy Christmas and that your daughter finally sees the light, same problems with my 16 year old granddaughter but she also has a baby! Antidepressants are the worst thing ever, try to not let them prescribe them unless absolutely necessary.
On better things I love your blog and what you do and thank you for the wonderful inspiration on it.
