Mind Mapping
I have been creating a mind map with ideas for the work I want to create for my exhibition in Munich next year. I have decided to go with things relating to Syria- because the experience I had there was enriching and the textiles gorgeous. I also loved the layers of history, the myths, the legends, the architecture ( and I left a french book on Damascus at my aunts... i need it). I also want the map to be part of the catalogue I hope to create to go with the exhibition. Now I shall have to mosey on and dye some fabric- I especially liked some fabric I encountered in the Damascus msuem which dated form Roman times- it was indigo and red with ecru resists of some sort - though the fabric did appear to be painted-- I would love to have photographed it.

Di, this is an amazing piece of work, would you mind if i copy the mind map picture to use in my class to show my pupils in school. I teach mindmapping all the time and yours is a great example. I would love to be able to show it as an example? hope this is not too much of an imposition.
I love seeing your mind map, so interesting.
ben blij dat het syrie wordt Heb les(arabisch en geschiedenis )gehad van een syrier die nu hier woont.Een heerlijke ervaring.
that is the most beautiful mind map I've ever seen. I love the breakdown printing you've been doing recently as well.
I second (third, fourth, fifth) everyone else: that is the coolest, most interesting mind map I've seen. With a mind map like that I actually might be tempted to come back and read it ;-)
fab mind mapping indeed, i should do that myself! when and where will you be exhibiting in munich. will definitely have to try to travel down. syria sounds wonderful, know nothing about their textiles.
I do mind-mapping too but mine aren't pretty like this one!
