I did another sample with the tracks- like Stegart I think I like it better with the tracks it gives it more definition somehow.
I will be away for four days up in Braidwood,NSW, for the Airing of the Quilts- Across Australia will be shown there on Saturday and Sunday and I am opening the weekend tomorrow evening.Another chance fo Australians to see these terrific quilts. It will be a long drive but catching an aeroplane would almost have taken as long.

ReplyDeleteI agree, I like the one with the tracks, but the newer colour combination has a bit of a zing to it, though they all work, just one has that something one cant put their finger on that allows it to stand out more.

ReplyDeleteI love this colour combination and think you're so right about the squares (tracks)- they just add that little bit extra. I like the stitching too - which reminds me...I'm finding your book very useful; it's unblocking my thoughts on free machining.
